To celebrate London Craft Week, this morning, organised by Well–Crafted, who are supporting our summer series brings together artists, a psychotherapist and a leading cultural moderator to explore how creativity can help us slow down, think more clearly and feel more connected both to ourselves and to others.

Moderated by Yasmin Jones-Henry, (FT writer and trustee at Crafts Council) the panel brings together artists from the Well–Crafted roster alongside a leadership coach and psychotherapist Mazelle Siton to explore why play, making and experimentation matter so deeply as tools for regulation, identity and wellbeing. The conversation will explore how simple acts like drawing, dance and writing can support mental clarity, reduce stress and help rewire how we think and feel. Artists from the Well–Crafted roster including Lauren GodfreyCarry Hornby, and Joanna Layla will share their first hand experience on how their practices from pattern and calligraphy to illustration create moments of focus, calm and insight in everyday life.

You’ll also hear real stories from the Well–Crafted community about the unexpected “aha” moments that happen in workshops when people step away from their screens, try something new, and reconnect in a more human, meaningful way.

Expect a warm, thoughtful gathering, all made possible thanks to Adobe Express, with refreshments provided by Wednesday’s Domaine.
