Join us in the Sunbeam Theatre at Ladbroke Hall for an intimate recital promising a rich blend of passion and artistry to be enjoyed with a drink and light bites from Pollini at Ladbroke Hall.

Jean-Paul Gasparian’s fifth album, released in 2023 on the Naïve label and dedicated to Debussy, was hailed as one of the year’s top twelve classical recordings by Crescendo magazine. His previous albums featuring Rachmaninoff and Chopin were equally praised, with BBC Music Magazine describing him as “A Highly Accomplished Chopinist.”

Winner of the Thierry-Scherz Prize in 2020, Jean-Paul recorded Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Bern Symphony Orchestra. In 2021, he was nominated for the Victoires de la Musique Classique, and in 2022, made his debut at the Philharmonie de Paris. His performances have earned him acclaim for their depth and artistry, including the 2023 French premiere of Howard Shore's Ruin and Memory with the Philharmonique de Radio France.

Jean-Paul has collaborated with major orchestras across Europe, including the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France and the Nürnberger Symphoniker. Notably, he stepped in for Christian Zacharias in 2018 to perform Mozart’s 24th Piano Concerto under conductor Leopold Hager.

Born in 1995, Jean-Paul studied at the Paris National Conservatory from the age of 14, later honing his craft with leading pianists across Europe. He is a Steinway Artist and an artist in residence at the Singer-Polignac Foundation, recognized as one of the most promising pianists of his generation.
