Carpenters Workshop Gallery presents a new exhibition by Rick Owens Furniture, a cutting-edge figure of contemporary aesthetic culture whose inimitable, irreverent style sends subversive ripples across fashion, art, and collectible design.
Titled Rust Never Sleeps, the presentation is inspired by London’s brutalist architecture and includes new sculptural works celebrating how metal transforms under the effects of time and environment. Seating pieces, tables, and beds are displayed. Michèle Lamy, co-founder and Managing Director of Art and Furniture at Owenscorp and curator of this exhibition, brings a unique, boundary-pushing energy to contemporary design.
Inspired by art and performance, Michèle blends raw materials with a sensual, rugged aesthetic. Rick Owens Furniture combines sleek minimalism with emotional texture, creating sculptural pieces that go beyond function and embody a passion for the avant-garde.
