"This book should be on the desk of every politician, CEO, CFO, and investor, worldwide." — John Elkington, sustainability pioneer

After two decades on Wall Street, and having experienced 9/11 first hand, John Fullerton walked away from finance with more questions than answers. Those questions would eventually lead him to found the Capital Institute and develop the idea of Regenerative Economics, a way of thinking about the economy that draws inspiration from living systems, where resilience, balance and long-term wellbeing matter as much as growth.

In this conversation at Ladbroke Hall, Fullerton reflects on that journey and the ideas behind his recent book, Regenerative Economics: Revolutionary Thinking for a World in Crisis. Together with architect and systems thinker Indy Johar, he will explore how finance, institutions and the way we measure value might evolve in response to today’s social and ecological challenges.

An evening of ideas about the systems shaping our economies and how they might begin to change.
